Art Therapy & Community Development Programs

Sally specialises in art based community development, social impact projects and art therapy programs (Clinical Masters in Art Psychotherapy, UWS, Present) working with people of all ages and backgrounds, those who are neurodivergent, differently abled, linguistically diverse, LGTBIQIA+, and those experiencing mental health challenges. Sally has worked extensively with people from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds, and women escaping domestic violence.

 

Sally uses a trauma informed, person centred, holism framework in her therapy programs, and believes in arts unique ability to facilitate healing, connection with the self and spirit, and with community.

Community development programs, social impact projects and Art therapy clients include Salvation Army, St Vincent De Pauls, International Justice Mission, St George Community Housing, Eve & Co Social Enterprise, Northcott Disabilities Support, Cumberland Council, Lebanese Muslim Association, University of Wollongong, St Francis House of Welcome.

Sally is also a co creator of Welcome Studio. A social enterprise that developed arts based community development programs and facilitates arts based employment opportunities with people from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds.
