Every print is hand embellished (drawn/ painted on) with oil pastels. Every print will be unique, numbered and signed with a certificate of authentication and comes with an additional poem and list of the plants, including their adaptations to fire.
Each flower in this painting is an Australian native plant that is 'made' for fire. Each one is beautifully adapted to respond to the trauma of fire, flame, heat and smoke by flourishing in its wake.

Requires fire to flower. After flowering the orchid itself turns itself black as if charred by flame.

Fire retardant and drought tolerant, becomes shelters for smaller species in times of danger and need.

Bright purple flower heads that resprout in response to fire.

Store seed until opened by fire, often requiring particular temperatures or smoke
THE FINE PRINT
Any fine art prints damaged during shipping/delivery are covered by insurance and will be replaced within reason and at the descretion of the artist.
SHIPPING INFO
Shipping is a $10 flat fee on checkout or free delivery to the Illawarra. Artworks are delivered rolled via Australia Post, with protection. Recycled materials are used where available, cost of shipping covers damage insurance of your fine art selection.
